daviddraimandDISTURBED frontman David Draiman has ruled out doing any more albums with his industrial-flavored side project DEVICE, which released one CD in 2013 while DISTURBED was on hiatus. Asked by Cindy Scull of the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas radio station 97.1 The Eagle Rocks if DEVICE was over, Draiman said (hear audio below): “Yeah, that’s something that we like to refer to as ‘the experiment.’ [Laughs] It gave me a greater appreciation for being blessed with the opportunity to find the people that I was meant to do my greatest work with, and that is certainly my brothers in DISTURBED. There just really wasn’t any going back. No substitute. [Laughs]”

Draiman told The Pulse Of Radio that he doesn’t regret working with DEVICE for a minute. “The DEVICE experience was amazing,” he said. “I enjoyed working with everyone that I was blessed with the opportunity to work with, and you learn so much going outside of your normal world and outside your box, so to speak.”
